Cycling Proficiency
Class 6 is now undertaking cycling proficiency. Despite the cold we are out in the playground most days learning how to be a safe cyclist.
Visit by Paralympian
David Smith MBE came into school to visit the P6s and P7s. He won a gold for Britain in the London Olympics. He was part of a rowing team who had trained for 4 years for the event. It was a hugely inspirational and positive visit. He told us that if he could do it, anyone could do it. Despite many difficulties in his life, he has achieved remarkable success. He is now planning to circle round the world!

Red Nose Day
On Red Nose Day we dressed up as famous people or wore something red. We had to pay 50p for doing this. There were also other fundraising activities and the whole school met in the hall at the end of the day. We sang the Red Nose Song at the top of our voices. Altogether the school raised a magnificent £895.

Golf
In two PE sessions with Mr Bichan we have been practising our golf skills. This involves a number of activities such as putting, playing on a slope and chipping towards a target. You can see some of these in the pictures.
